Serenity Vet

Overview

A Phased Approach to Opening a Veterinary Practice

After working with other practices at the onset of her career, Dr. Scanlan decided to transition from employee to practice owner. Rather than stay at a physical location, she decided that her new practice would be a mobile clinic. Her phased approach to growing the practice entails offering a limited menu of services with the intention of increasing services and staff as demand dictates.

Serenity Veterinary Care had a healthy start through word of mouth marketing and a solid reputation for compassionate care.  However, Dr. Scanlan and her team always knew that they needed a website if they were to accelerate and maintain growth.

Challenge

Build a personalized website solution for a brand new mobile veterinary practice

The website needed to reflect the team’s commitment to quality and its unique position as a boutique mobile practice. The SVC team originally considered building a website through a company that provided website templates. However, the look and service was generic and expensive.

By its very nature, a mobile veterinary practice lacks the usual exposure that traditional (stationary) veterinary practices enjoy - no drop-ins, friendly receptionist or neighborhood presence to build relationships. The website would provide a positive online experience and serve as a foundational resource for new and returning clients.

Solution

A Collaborative Approach and a Brand New Website for a Mobile Veterinarian

Shortly after the official opening of the practice, SVC was supported by a new branded website. Set-up for future clients, they can move on to servicing their community. The new website includes:

  • Responsive design for viewing on desktop and mobile devices - The new website enhances the user experience because it looks beautiful and acts normally no matter which device it's viewed on.
  • Easy and intuitive navigation - The website's thoughtfully designed navigation makes it simple for clients to find services, gather information and contact SVC for an appointment.
  • Fast loading website - A website that loads in <3 seconds keeps visitors engaged and more likely to remain on the website.
  • Ability to monitor traffic sources and behavior - Delivering valuable information through Google Analytics so that future marketing decisions can be based on data.
  • Designed to be versatile and grow as they add more services to their practice - Because SMV is enrolled in the 99 Wings website maintenance program, they have unlimited edits and maintenance.
  • Working with a dedicated marketing professional - As their needs evolve, SVC can rely on a friendly, dedicated collaboration to further nurture their ability to be found online.
